This project is about supporting the best decisions possible regarding access to affordable education and financial planning. It will bring together student financial data including costs to students, financial aid, and other student income so we can understand trends, opportunities, and impacts of external events and make the best decisions possible regarding access to affordable education and financial planning. Decisions involving student financials can help us reduce the debt that students face, improve our recruitment of the best and most diverse candidates and help define our role as a public institution. Funding for students is the second biggest revenue source on campus in total. With the proper data and tools we can use of our resources more effectively, seize new opportunities, reduce risks, and simply do better at furthering the mission of the university of teaching, research and public service.
