Group local copies of materials

Keywords: Aggregate; Annotate

Activity Definition(s)

The need to "Group local copies of materials into sets appropriate to one or more scholarly inquiries in which the materials play" seems fairly basic when multiple materials been have aggregated for further analysis.  The mechanics of this work may simply be adding metadata such as keywords and/or otherwise classifying the materials (these are covered in the Organize Discovered Materials activity) or perhaps a more formal process of using taxonomies or ontologies for this categorization (these are covered in the Categorize an Object in a Taxonomy and Categorize objects using broadly accepted or provisional ontology activities).

Perhaps these four activities have enough overlap to be considered for consolidation?
