This page describes the various processes which must be completed to move a narrative through its various stages of analysis.

You must be logged in to make any changes to the Scholarly Narratives repository.

The processes are:

New Submission Intake

  1. Newly created narratives can be found on the New Submissions page, and also at the top of the Scholarly Narrative Repository
  2. Narratives should be named with an identifier. Identifiers are sequential starting at SchNar-0001.
  3. Find the highest numbered narrative at Scholarly Narrative Repository and note the number.
  4. Edit the new narrative
    1. Click on the narrative title
    2. Click the Edit tab
    3. Replace the name of the narrative with the next identifier (eg. if the highest numbered narrative is SchNar-0084, rename the page SchNar-0085)
    4. Change the parent page to "Scholarly Narrative Repository"
    5. Add the label "schnar_formetadatareview" to the page.
    6. Scroll to the bottom and click "Save"
  5. Add the narrative to the Scholarly Narrative Repository page
    1. Go to Scholarly Narrative Repository
    2. Click Edit
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the table of narratives
    4. Add a new line for the narrative

Each line in the table will be of the format:
      | [short number | narrative number] | Narrative title | Author(s) |
For example, if the new narrative is "My Scholarly Activity", by Jane Doe, and is numbered SchNar-0135, enter a new line in the table like:
      | [0135|SchNar-0135] | My Scholarly Activity | Jane Doe |

    5. Click Save
