Confluence content is organized into spaces. A space is an area in Confluence which has been created to support a defined purpose. All spaces have a home page and the space serves as the container for wiki pages and other content items such as attachments or images. Each space has a space administrator group, users in the group can set up space permissions, request new users be added to the space, set up themes and handle basic administration. To better understand the concept of a Confluence space you can see a list of spaces open to the general public on the production Confluence DashboardAllowing anonymous users access to attach files, make comments or write any unmonitored text on a Confluence space is not allowed.
